MY COLD ZONE App — Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the MY COLD ZONE Android app ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Kachaliya Brothers, a partnership firm in Surat, Gujarat, India, which runs the FIZORA and MY COLD ZONE businesses ("we", "us"). The app is a work tool for MY COLD ZONE outlets: it opens our outlet counter at staff.mycoldzone.com and prints bills on the outlet's receipt printer. It is meant for outlet staff and franchise owners, not for the general public.
1. Information the app handles
Login and staff details. Staff sign in to the counter with the details their outlet owner set up (such as name, phone number and PIN). These are checked by our server.
Outlet business records. Bills, orders, items, payments, cash and stock entries made at the counter. If staff type a customer's name or phone number on a bill, that is stored with the bill.
Printer details. To print, the app looks for receipt printers connected by USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or LAN, and remembers the printer the outlet chose (its name and address on the local network or Bluetooth).
Technical data. Our servers keep normal security logs (such as IP address, time and browser version) to keep the service safe and to fix errors.
2. What the app does not do
- No advertising and no advertising ID.
- No third-party analytics or tracking libraries inside the app.
- No tracking of your location. On Android 11 and older, Android asks for the Location permission to search for Bluetooth printers; the app uses it only for that search and never reads where the device is.
- No access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, SMS or call logs.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
3. Device permissions
- Nearby devices / Bluetooth — to find and connect to Bluetooth receipt printers.
- USB — to print on a printer plugged into the device; Android asks the user before the app can use it.
- Internet and Wi-Fi state — to open the counter and to find network printers on the outlet's own Wi-Fi or LAN.
4. Why we use this information
- To run the outlet counter: billing, printing receipts, orders, cash and stock.
- To keep accounts and meet legal duties such as GST records.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
5. Where it is stored and who can see it
Counter records are stored on our cloud servers and travel over encrypted HTTPS connections. Only the outlet's owner, its authorised staff and our support team can see an outlet's records. We use service providers for hosting and database services, who handle data only on our instructions. We share information with government authorities only when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Bills and accounting records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Staff login details are kept while the staff member is active at the outlet and removed when the outlet owner or we close the account.
7. Your choices and account deletion
Staff and franchise owners can ask us to correct or delete their personal details, or to close their account, by writing to support@fizora.in. Records that the law requires us to keep (such as tax invoices) are kept for the required period and then deleted. Uninstalling the app removes the printer settings saved on the device.
8. Children
The app is a business tool for adults working at MY COLD ZONE outlets. It is not meant for children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
